Having good-condition transmission fluid in your automatic gearbox is vital as its job is to prevent friction between the many metal parts of the gearbox and if the fluid is left so long that it becomes contaminated and viscous, it will be unable to lubricate the parts properly and can lead to wear and damage.

At Fife AutoTech we flush out 100% of the old transmission fluid which also removes all the particles and deposits which cause its deterioration. We then check and clean the transmission pan, change the filter and fill it up with new transmission fluid.
